Michelle
Michelle is an MOE certified and experienced art educator who has been teaching young children and teenagers since 2007. She graduated with diplomas in Visual Communication (NAFA), Art Education (NIE) and currently pursuing her degree in Fine Arts (Lasalle).
She specializes in pencil and pen illustration, colour pencil, watercolour, acrylic/ oil painting, ceramic, sculpture making, jewellery making, mixed medium and art installation. Her comprehensive knowledge of visual art in various mediums and techniques allow her to guide her students according to their learning needs and enhance their artistic development.
Michelle’s vast working experiences in teaching young children, International School students, AEP, N, and O level students allow her to nurture her students’ creativity, aesthetic skills and abilities through her professional guidance in art pedagogies and imaginative lessons.
Her students had achieved distinctions and won numerous local and overseas art competitions through her guidance while her ingenious lesson plan was publish in MOE’s 2016 art book.
Idah
Teacher Ida is a dedicated educator who has spent over a decade fostering creativity and nurturing artistic potential in students of all ages. She was a MOE primary and secondary school art teacher since 2010. With expertise in various art media, she empowers her students to explore and express themselves authentically. Grounded in a degree in Contemporary Art from University of Tasmania and a diploma in education from National Institute of Education. she provides a holistic approach to teaching that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skill.
Ziyi
Ziyi completed her studies in NAFA with a Diploma in Graphics and Advertising, with a specialization in illustration. In the early years after her graduation, Ziyi worked as a freelance Arts Education in MOE schools as well as conducting private workshops for adults. She later joined MOE in the year 2009 and teaches in a secondary school where she taught students in all streams and level (NT, NA and O level) till present. Recently, she also completed her studies in Australia and got her Bachelors Degree in Contemporary Arts from University of Tasmania, majoring in Ceramics.
Joy
Joy is a practicing Fine Art Artist and has been teaching fine art, oil, watercolor, acrylic painting, art and craft for over 10 years ever since her graduation from LASALLE-SIA RMIT University Bachelor of Fine Art (Distinction) in 2003. Since then she has been teaching kids as young as 4 years old and has also helped many teenage students to prepare for their portfolios for admission to Lasalle, Nafa, Sota or O’level Art.
Personally, Joy is an abstract artist and she also enjoys crafting fine silver jewellery that is made of art clay silver and precious metals. She also paints and draws during her leisure time. Joy also do botanical drawing and painting, which helps one to enhance observation and techniques. She helps her students to cultivate their creative thinking of teaching them different aspects of techniques and conceptual aspects, required in observations.
Adrian
Adrian has more than 10 years of teaching experience. He is an AMIS art instructor, WDA certified art facilitator, PAL visual art instructor and a NAC art instructor. His mission as an art instructor is to develop and teach a structured art program which incorporate basic art elements / principles of design, art appreciation, visual awareness, and is fundamental to intellectual growth and creative self expression. His role as an art teacher is to teach his students to take risks with their art, experiment with new mediums, and to think “outside of the box” in new and creative ways.
Peng
Peng is a local artist specializing in contemporary and traditional Chinese ink painting.
After he completed his Fashion Design diploma in Singapore, Peng went for his further study at Academy of Art & Design Tsinghua University in Beijing China, major in Chinese Art Studies.
Currently member of art association Fujian China (Recognized as professional Artist) and he had received many awards in the past few years.

Veronical
Veron is an accomplished digital illustrator and art educator, boasting over 11 years of teaching experience in various settings including studios, schools, and private institutions across Singapore, catering to both children and adults. She earned her diploma in fashion design from LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore in 2019. Armed with formal training in animation and concept art, her primary focus revolves around character design and world building.
Moses
A Versatile Artist – Moses is adept at Oil Painting, Watercolor and Acrylic Painting.
Over the years, he has established a deep knowledge in Art History & Color theory and applied these into his teaching methodology.
As an artist, he has also done commissions for organisations and developed his own works.
Moses has experiences working with a number of International School Students, N/O level & AEP Students, Special Needs Students (mildly autistic children & teens etc).
His teaching extends beyond the classroom and is adept in all mediums ranging from oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor, pastel, charcoal and many more. His passion is to help children and adults alike to develop their aesthetic abilities and to gain confidence in their work. Moses believes in the potential of every student, and seeks to guide them to grow their artistic talent. Through his lessons, he aims to not only develop their techniques, but to challenge their perspectives to help them connect and discover more about themselves.
In his own time, he enjoys serving the community by utilizing his artistic abilities at events like youth outreach programmes.
Ann
Ann was awarded an overseas full scholarship by PSC to pursue my Bachelor in Fine Arts in 1982. After completed her Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, she is a full time art teachers in secondary schools since 1986.
She work with oil/ acrylic painting, water color, soft pastels, pen and pencils sketching, mixed medium, fabric designs.She is currently teaching art to children, adult and secondary school students. (especially GCE O & N Level Art).
Teaching Art is her passion. She enjoy painting and drawing with her students, to expand their their creative minds and expressing their feelings through art. Her forte is teaching the GCE O & N Level Art, her success comes from seeing students passing their art exam with flying colors !!
Jevan
Having graduated with a Diploma in Entertainment Design, Jevan has developed a vast repertoire of design styles – from cartoon and anime/manga to professional logo and marketing designs. Jevan’s experience includes working as a game artist, graphic artist, and marketing / brand designer in various industries. Jevan’s artworks have been published in newspapers (Straits Times, Today and Xin Min Zao Bao), magazines (BBC knowledge) and on MRT stations’ posters around Singapore. Jevan also helped conceptualize and design numerous company’s branding image and marketing collaterals.
Since 2010, Jevan started teaching students digital art and designing. His motivation stems from the desire to inspire his students to create art pieces that will bring forth a message or value to one who sees the art. Jevan also conducted many classes for MOE schools (primary & secondary), community centres, tuition centres, amusement centres, shopping centres, polytechnics and even in Sentosa (Port of Lost Wonders).
Serene
Serene has been teaching art since 2007 as an art trainer. She goes to primary and secondary schools to guide students and share animation art form. Apart from that, she takes in private students for art classes. She believe that art making is very therapeutic and is loving every bit of it. She feels that learning art should be fun and makes a conscious effort to make lessons fun and enriching.
Emily
Emily is an innovative art educator who graduated with a Bachelor in Art Education at SUSS. She is able to build students’ confidence through art and bring out their best abilities through her teaching methods.
She has a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in location MOE primary schools to tertiary schools teaching a variety of art mediums from painting, clay making to digital painting. She also conducts art workshops for adults at public events and corporate events. She also spearheads mural painting projects.
Emily aims to create a good learning evviornment that celebrates student’s unique talent and creativity.
Louis
Louis is an avid calligraphy practitioner for 30 years. He started picking up calligraphy from his mother when young and learnt this art officially when he was in Tuan Mon High School. In 1996 he learnt from Dr. Kho Seow Hua for the NUS – Department of Extramural studies and continue learning till today.
In 1982, Louis start to participated in the National School Chinese Calligraphy competition. In recent year ( 2015-2016), he again participated in the National Chinese calligraphy and being awarded with outstanding art award.
In 2015 & 2016, Louis participated in the Dr. Tan Tse Chor Art Competition and being recognized with Outstanding Award.
Louis is an instructor registered with MOE.
Pauline
Pauline is one of the pioneers in spreading and sharing Folk Art and Decorative Painting in Singapore. In mid 1990s, she made several trips to America, England and Australia to learn and expand her knowledge of this Craft. Over the years she has explored painting on different surfaces which include wood, fabric, rock, glass, ceramic, plastic and metal!
Since 1996, Pauline has been sharing the joy of painting through invitations to demonstrate at various clubs, fairs and also through teaching. Her classes attracted students from neighboring countries and as far as France, America, Bahrain and Japan. Her sharing, reassuring and responsible nature makes learning enjoyable and relaxing. Her passion is to inspire and motivate her students to their best potential. Seeing her students enjoying their painting sessions and presenting their painted items as gifts or for personal use give Pauline great satisfaction.
In 1999, one of her students won the 1st prize in a painting competition organised by IKEA. In the same year, another group of her students also won1st prize in a Mural Painting competition organised by Tampines GRC.
Yashini
Yashini is a multidisciplinary artist and an experienced MOE certified secondary school Art teacher who is currently pursuing her BA (Hons) in Fine Arts at Lasalle College of the Arts. She has taught Art coursework for 5 years in a secondary school (GCE N/O Levels) and she has also attained her Diploma in Arts Teaching from National Institute of Education and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. She is also well acquainted with the current art syllabus.
In 2011, She collaborated with visual and Performance Artist Martha Rosler and her team to exhibit an installation piece for the Singapore Biennale 2011. Yashini also specializes in a wide range of classical mediums (painting, pencil, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, installation, photography) and is very passionate about Digital Art/Photomanipulation as well. (Photoshop and Lightroom).
As for her current practice, her works centers upon inventive methodologies in material alchemy. Her investment in materials probes and questions the controlled and uncontrolled environment of the process, which brings about the hidden and mutable properties of materials.
Alex
Alex has over 20 years of experience in Chinese Calligraphy. He learned this beautiful art from several masters and has won numerous awards in calligraphy contests. Recent years, he setup his own brand to offer professional writing services to corporate and public. He was invited to countless events such as conferences, Dinner & Dances, family days and his art work was exclusively featured in Channel NewsAsia. He also custom-made calligraphy gifts as requested by his clients.
Passionate in teaching, he conducted calligraphy classes and workshops for kids and adult. You are able to grasp the fundamental of Chinese Calligraphy and enjoy the learning journey of creating our own master piece.
Calven
He is a comic Illustrator and caricaturist. He am graduated from The One Academy of Advertising and Graphic design in Diploma. He is also an art teacher with experience in teaching adult and children. Especially in portrait and caricature class. Art is free and easy, Calven will not try to give student any suggestion but will help and extend their own art sense to make fun with the art work. He believes Every people can create an art work with their own hand.
Clare
Clare has been a full time art instructor since 2011. She has taught before in various art studio, like Little Artist and Artgrain. With 2 years of experience in teaching children art, her range of students are from 5-16 years old. Clare is very passionate in teaching, therefore she really enjoy sharing her knowledge with the children. Clare graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts majoring in Western Painting and abstract art, currently she is teaching art part time and portfolio students only.
