Fabric / Paper Gift Wrapping

Art Workshop Available too!

When most people receive a present, they eagerly rip off the gift wrapping to see what lies within. Make your loved ones stop and appreciate the artistry of your gift wrapping and the action of your gift giving before they find out what present they are getting. Stop using store-bought paper or shoving presents in gift bags. You have a chance to make a wonderful impression on your loved ones by mastering the art of gift wrapping. Enroll in lessons on creatively wrapping presents to learn everything you need to delight those you want to shower with gifts.

Personalizing gift wrapping is simple if you are starting from scratch. Use plain, thick brown paper for a surprisingly modern gift wrap, enhanced with colored ribbon or a personalized message scrawled across the surface in an interesting typeface. You can customize the gift wrap with the recipient’s name or something they like on the outside, like tiny painted lady bugs or footballs.

Fabric is an excellent and memorable way to wrap gifts. This material is more likely to be reused than simply thrown away in the trash after unwrapping like paper. Also, fabric gift wrapping affords you many more options. For example, adhere a plain white muslin cloth around a box using fabric tape or a hot glue gun. Carefully add an intricate swath of lace around the muslin. This is a simple, minimalistic, but stunningly elegant way to wrap wedding or shower gifts. You can also coordinate your fabric patterns with holidays. For example, use bright, cheerful polka dot fabric to mark a birthday that falls in the summer. Use autumn hues like pumpkin, red wine, or golden yellow for fabric gift wrapping in the fall.
